A peaceful adults-only touring site on the edge of Great Longstone, with just five fully serviced hard-standing pitches.
With only five pitches, Church Lane Farm Touring is a quiet, uncrowded base for exploring the Peak District. Each pitch has water, electric and drainage hook-ups, and there are picnic tables on site. Dogs are very welcome too, with plenty of excellent walking nearby.
Great Longstone's two village pubs are around five minutes away on foot, while Bakewell and Chatsworth House are approximately 10 minutes away by car. Longstone Moor, Curbar Edge and Padley Gorge are also within easy reach.
The farm dairy is just around the corner, where you can pick up fresh pasteurised milk, milkshakes and eggs during your stay. It is open 24/7.

Top Shippon
A characterful converted cattle barn in the heart of Great Longstone, sleeping four guests comfortably.
With two king-size bedrooms, original beams and sloping eaves, Top Shippon is a lovely base for couples, families or a small group of friends exploring the Peak District. One bedroom has an en suite shower room, alongside a family bathroom, and downstairs there's plenty of space to relax, including a log-burning stove set into the stone fireplace.
The cottage is dog friendly and has a garden and patio with views across the village and surrounding fields. Great Longstone's pubs and village shop are just a short walk away, while the Monsal Trail, Bakewell, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all within easy reach.

Shippon Barn
A spacious three-bedroom converted cattle barn in the heart of Great Longstone, sleeping up to six guests.
With original beams, a log-burning stove and plenty of space for families or groups of friends, Shippon Barn makes a comfortable base for exploring the Peak District. It has three bedrooms, including two king-size rooms and a bunk room, with an en suite shower room and family bathroom.
The cottage is dog friendly and has an enclosed garden, patio and private parking. The village pubs and shop are just a short walk away, while the Monsal Trail, Bakewell, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all within easy reach.

On the doorstep
One of the perks of staying here is having Church Lane Farm right on your doorstep. Cox Brothers Dairy is opposite Shippon Barn and just around the corner from Top Shippon, where you can pick up fresh, local, pasteurised milk, milkshakes and the most delicious fresh eggs.
Great Longstone also has a small but surprisingly well-stocked village shop and two pubs, The White Lion and The Crispin, both within easy walking distance. In neighbouring Little Longstone you'll find the acclaimed Packhorse Inn.
The Monsal Trail is only a few minutes away by bike, while Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all around 10 minutes away by car.
